Jessica York

Jessica knew from a very young age that she wanted

to work in television.  Getting her start as an investigative reporter in her very own home doing an expose series called "What's for Dinner, Ma?" on her dad’s hi-tech camcorder (with attached VCR).  From there Jessica has enjoyed a multi-media career that has taken her from working at MTV News to HGTV, from sideline sports reporting to forecasting the weather, from making movies to shark diving, from swimming with elephants to race-car driving with Paul Newman.

Jessica got her first official TV job while still in college working as a freelance sports and news reporter for KREZ.  Realizing that sports was more her speed, she headed to Resort Sports Network (RSN). There she fronted RSN's Outdoor Update on CNN Headline News and The Weather Channel.  Which of course qualified her to host New Spaces, a home renovation show on HGTV. Unwilling to give up the great outdoors for re-doing indoors, she stayed on at RSN hosting both Hot Spots, RSN's half-hour travel program and Thrill Seekers, RSN's extreme-adventure series.  Jessica has also forecasted the weather for WMTW, worked as a anchor and sideline sports reporter for TVG, hosted three 2-hour LIVE game shows, QuizNation, PlayMania and 100 WInners for GSN, and worked the red carpet for FOX, TV Guide and DISH.  She’s also hosted and produced her own workout video, Body to Go, acted as Rachael’s travel expert on the Rachael Ray Show and did a spread in FHM.

Currently she works with DISH as a red carpet reporter and studio host. When she's not traveling the world or chasing sharks, she teaches kickboxing and spin classes, bakes killer cupcakes and is working on becoming the worlds next great DJ.
